What is Dual Titanium Lifting?

Dual Titanium Lifting is Yaan Clinic's three-step program: Titanium laser lifting, then Exilis radiofrequency, then LDM Recovery Therapy. The idea is that each step works on a different layer, so tightening, contour and skin quality are treated in one session.

The core device is the Titanium laser by Alma Lasers, an Israeli manufacturer. It is often called Soprano Titanium because it comes from Alma's Soprano platform, which was first known for laser hair removal. For lifting, the laser's heat is used to stimulate the dermis rather than the hair follicle. Yaan then adds Exilis, a monopolar radiofrequency device by BTL, and finishes with LDM, a high-density dual-frequency ultrasound used for soothing and recovery.

"Dual Titanium" is Yaan Clinic's own program name and is registered as a trademark. Yaan reports it has delivered over 25 million Titanium pulses, and works with the Alma headquarters team in Israel. You can see how this program fits among Yaan's other energy devices on the skin tightening in Seoul overview.

How does Titanium laser lifting work?

Titanium lifting uses three laser wavelengths at once (755, 810 and 1064 nm) to heat the skin at different depths. The heat triggers collagen contraction and new collagen production, which firms the skin over time.

The device has two working modes, and Yaan's doctors adjust them by area:

  • SHR mode – sweeps gentle, repeated heat through the superficial 2–3 mm of skin. This targets texture, tone and fine laxity.
  • Stack mode – delivers concentrated bursts to deeper layers, up to about 8 mm. This targets the jawline, cheeks and areas where firmer contour support is wanted.

Because heat is delivered gradually with a gliding handpiece, Titanium is generally described as a comfortable laser lift. Comfort varies by person and area, and your doctor will confirm pain control options at consultation.

Why does Yaan add Exilis and LDM?

Yaan adds Exilis radiofrequency to strengthen tightening and contouring, and LDM ultrasound to calm the skin after heat-based treatment. Combining them lets one session cover elasticity, contour and skin condition.

Step Device Energy Main role
1 Titanium (Alma) Three-wavelength laser, 755/810/1064 nm Collagen stimulation from superficial to deep layers
2 Exilis (BTL) Monopolar radiofrequency Additional tightening and contour support
3 LDM Recovery Therapy High-density dual-frequency ultrasound Soothing and recovery after heat; described by Yaan as zero downtime or irritation

LDM Recovery Therapy is used across many of Yaan's lifting programs. Read more about it on the LDM treatment page.

Who is a good candidate for Titanium lifting?

Good candidates have mild to moderate skin laxity, a softening jawline, early double chin, or want firmer skin with better tone and pores. It suits people who want visible tightening without needles, incisions or long downtime.

Yaan's own guidance links age to skin elasticity rather than a fixed number:

  • 20s–30s – often used as maintenance to keep elasticity and contour.
  • 40s–50s and older – used to address sagging that has already started, sometimes combined with other lifting devices.
  • Main target areas – jawline, cheeks, double chin, forehead and the eye area, plus pores, tone and texture across the face.

Advanced sagging with heavy skin excess may need a different approach, such as thread lifting or a referral for surgical options. If your main concern is loose skin along the jaw, see our guide to sagging skin and jowls.

Good to know: Laser and energy treatments are usually avoided during pregnancy, over active skin infection or inflammation, and in some people with implanted electronic devices. Tell your doctor about recent sun exposure, medications and prior procedures. Your doctor will confirm suitability at consultation.

Will Titanium lifting make my face look hollow?

Titanium lifting is not a fat-reduction treatment, and Yaan individualizes the settings to avoid hollowing. Energy and mode are adjusted for each area based on your facial fat and skin thickness.

This matters for slim faces, where too much deep heat in the mid-cheek could reduce volume people want to keep. Yaan uses 3D Meta-vu skin analysis to map the face before planning energy by area. If your goal is fat reduction under the chin, a dedicated option such as double chin treatment may be planned separately.

What happens during a Dual Titanium session?

A session follows a fixed order at Yaan: consultation, Meta-vu skin assessment, gel application, Titanium laser, Exilis RF, then LDM recovery. Most of the visit is the treatment itself plus time for analysis and planning.

  1. Consultation & Meta-Vu skin analysis – A doctor reviews your concerns and a 3D Meta-vu scan of wrinkles, pores, texture and pigmentation.
  2. Treatment design – Energy and mode are planned for each zone, such as jawline, cheeks and under the chin.
  3. Gel application – A coupling gel is applied so the handpiece glides evenly.
  4. Titanium laser – SHR and Stack modes are used according to the plan.
  5. Exilis radiofrequency – RF is applied to reinforce tightening and contour.
  6. LDM Recovery Therapy – Ultrasound is used to calm the skin before you leave.

When will I see results, and what is recovery like?

Some people notice a firmer contour immediately after treatment, while elasticity continues to improve over the following weeks as new collagen forms. Most people return to normal activities the same day.

Mild redness or warmth can occur after laser and RF heating and usually settles within hours. Use sunscreen, keep the skin hydrated and avoid saunas or very hot environments for a short time unless your doctor advises otherwise. How long results last and how often to repeat treatment depend on your skin and are confirmed at consultation; Yaan does not publish a fixed duration.

How does Titanium lifting compare with Ultherapy or Thermage?

Titanium uses laser heat across several depths with a comfortable gliding technique, Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound aimed at the SMAS layer, and Thermage uses monopolar radiofrequency in the dermis. Yaan says Titanium may be combined with either.

Feature Dual Titanium Ultherapy Prime Thermage FLX
Energy Three-wavelength laser + RF + ultrasound care Micro-focused ultrasound with imaging Monopolar radiofrequency
Main depth About 2–8 mm, by mode 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm transducers Deep dermis
Strength Contour, elasticity, pores and tone in one visit Structural lift of deeper layers Skin tightening and texture

Frequently asked questions

Is Titanium lifting the same as Soprano Titanium?

Yes. Titanium lifting uses the Titanium laser from Alma Lasers' Soprano platform, which delivers 755, 810 and 1064 nm wavelengths together. At Yaan Clinic it forms the first step of Dual Titanium Lifting, followed by Exilis radiofrequency and LDM Recovery Therapy.

Does Titanium lifting reduce face fat?

No. Yaan Clinic describes Titanium lifting as a tightening and contouring treatment, not a fat-reduction procedure. Settings are individualized so slim faces do not become hollow. If you want fat reduction under the chin, a separate treatment can be planned.

Is Titanium lifting painful?

Titanium uses a gliding handpiece that builds heat gradually, so most people describe a warm sensation rather than sharp pain. Sensitivity varies by area and person. Your doctor at Yaan will discuss comfort options during consultation.

Can Titanium be combined with Ultherapy or Thermage?

Yes. Yaan Clinic says Titanium lifting may be combined with Ultherapy or Thermage when it suits your skin. Your doctor decides whether a combination is helpful based on your laxity, fat distribution and goals.

How soon will I see results?

Some people see a firmer contour right after treatment. Elasticity usually continues to improve over the following weeks as new collagen forms. Individual results vary and are discussed at consultation.

What age is Titanium lifting for?

Yaan links suitability to elasticity rather than age. People in their 20s and 30s often use it for maintenance, while people in their 40s, 50s and older use it to address sagging that has already begun.
