Skin botox, also called microbotox or intradermal botox, is a technique in which very small amounts of diluted botulinum toxin are injected just under the skin surface across the face to refine pores, texture and fine lines rather than to freeze muscles. What is skin botox?

Skin botox is a way of using botulinum toxin in the superficial skin layer instead of deep in the muscle. Tiny, evenly spaced injections spread across the face aim to improve elasticity, pores and texture while keeping natural facial expressions.

Standard botox is injected into a muscle to stop it from creating wrinkles. 2. Area and dose design – the doctor decides which zones to treat and the dose, keeping expressions natural.

When will I see results, and how long do they last?

Small raised bumps at the injection points are normal immediately after treatment and usually flatten within hours. Mild redness or occasional pinpoint bruising can occur. Many patients repeat skin botox periodically as part of an ongoing skin-care plan.

Who is a good candidate for skin botox?

Skin botox suits adults with oily skin, visible pores, fine surface lines or a slightly loose, uneven texture who want smoother skin without changing their expressions. It is often chosen before events or as part of a glass-skin plan.
