A fat dissolving injection is a non-surgical treatment that injects a fat-reducing solution into a small area of stubborn fat, breaking down fat cell membranes so the contents can be cleared by the body. What is the Body Sculpture Injection?

The Body Sculpture Injection is Yaan Clinic's own fat-dissolving formula. Its composition is registered with the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), and it is used only at Yaan Clinic.

Yaan pairs the injection with Ulfit body lifting(also called Body Shurink), a high-intensity focused ultrasound device that tightens skin over the treated area. Before treatment, an InBody body composition analysis helps the doctor build a one-to-one plan, so the injection is directed where fat, not muscle or loose skin, is the real issue.

For fat-dissolving injections, Yaan also uses Protecter, a skin protector independently developed and patented by the clinic's medical team to reduce skin irritation and the risk of scarring at injection points.

How do fat dissolving injections work?

The solution breaks down the membranes of fat cells in the injected layer. The released fat is converted into a water-soluble form and gradually discharged through the body's natural processes.

Because treated fat cells are broken down rather than just shrunk, results in that small area tend to be stable as long as your weight stays steady. Fat injections are not a weight-loss method: they shape specific areas. Adding Ulfit helps the skin over the area stay firm as volume reduces.

Do fat dissolving injections hurt? What is the downtime?

The area is numbed with local anesthesia, so most people feel only stinging or pressure. You can return to daily activities straight after treatment, and Yaan Clinic does not require a compression garment.

As with most injectables, the treated area may typically feel tender, swollen or slightly warm for a few days, and small bruises are possible. These effects usually settle on their own. Your doctor will confirm what to expect and any exercise or alcohol precautions at consultation.

Who is a good candidate for fat dissolving injections?

At Yaan Clinic, a body fat-dissolving injection costs ₩300,000 per area. The Double-Chin Package (TUNELINER + fat-dissolving injection) is ₩600,000 for one session or ₩1,500,000 for three, published excluding VAT.
